About The DesignerThe Nurses "Black Band" was designed by: Margaret Armitage. A native of Louisbourg, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. She graduated from: The Victoria General Hospital School of Nursing - 1977. She had practiced full time in critical care until 1999 at which time she accepted a position coordinating provincial medical death investigation at the Medical Examiners Service, Halifax, NS. |
